Rules

Yes, we have a lot of rules becsuse we are a tax-exempt entity.

First Rule: The grant must be awarded on an objective and non-discriminatory basis. An applicant cannot be a family member of any of our directors, officers, employees or major donors Criteria for an award include but are not limited to prior academic performance, performance on tests designed to measure ability and aptitude, recommendations from instructors or ecclesiastical authorities, financial need, and the conclusions which the selection committee might draw from the interview as to the individual’s motivation, character, ability and potential. Finally, the university/school etc. must be a real school. That is, it must maintain a regular faculty and have a regularly enrolled body of pupils or students in attendance at the place where educational activities are regularly carried on. We have to verify that this is true. After someone receives an award, we have to take steps to ensure that the funds were used as intended. We likely need to pay all or part of the funds directly to the school. And applicants will be required to provide supporting docuemnts and a signed attestation on the use of funds.
